We’ve all been told not to stare at other people. “It’s impolite!” Well, in this case it’s not only polite but encouraged!

“Stop Staring!” is an urban contemporary exhibition focusing on the underlying reasons we like to look at other people. It reveals the dimensions of personality at the intersection of personal impression and artistic expression, distilled down in the form of a portrait; representational or abstract.
The secret question is; how do artists decide how to portray their subjects? As infinite as personality traits are, so is our fascination with other’s and our need to experience them. We present six artists and their call to invite you to stare!
